Corporate and bulk-order fulfillment
HP Design offers production, kitting, packing, labeling, and carrier handoff services. Some Clients direct the shipping arrangements while HP Design fulfills the agreed processing work.

These terms apply to corporate, bulk, kitting, and client-directed fulfillment orders only when included in an accepted quote, order, or written agreement. They do not replace HP Design’s standard shipping policy for online retail purchases. A specifically negotiated written agreement takes precedence if it conflicts with this page.
HP Design provides the agreed packing, labeling, handling, coordination, and carrier handoff services. HP Design is not the transportation carrier or insurer. The Client controls and approves the shipping arrangements, whether the Client supplies labels or authorizes HP Design to procure them on the Client’s behalf. Carrier documentation may separately name a shipper or account holder for claims purposes.
Before dispatch, the Client must provide and approve one final written shipping manifest with each recipient’s name, complete address (including suite or apartment and ZIP code), contact details where necessary, quantities and contents, and carrier and service instructions. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the information and any labels it supplies. HP Design may hold shipments while missing, conflicting, or illegible information is corrected; HP Design does not guarantee the deliverability of an approved address.
Unless expressly identified as fixed in writing, shipping rates quoted earlier in the order are estimates. The Client is responsible for actual carrier charges when shipment is processed and for subsequent surcharges and adjustments, including dimensional-weight, fuel, residential, remote-area, seasonal, address-correction, returns, and redelivery charges. Charges on the Client’s carrier account remain the Client’s responsibility with the carrier. If HP Design purchases authorized labels on the Client’s behalf, actual charges and adjustments are reimbursable. HP Design will seek approval before choosing an optional materially more expensive service.
Fulfillment labor, handling, kitting, boxes, protective material, presentation packaging, packing, and label application are separate from carrier charges unless the accepted quote expressly includes them. Client-provided labels or a different carrier do not waive agreed handling fees. Extra repacking, relabeling, return processing, or replacement packaging caused by revised instructions or returns is charged as quoted or otherwise approved in writing.
The Client must designate a contact authorized to approve each batch’s final manifest, destination counts, labels or carrier instructions, and release. Email approval is sufficient. HP Design relies on the latest explicitly approved version rather than superseded or contradictory messages. Changes after labeling or carrier handoff may incur additional labor and carrier fees and may change the release schedule. Carrier recall or rerouting is not guaranteed.
When HP Design has correctly prepared and labeled the order under the approved instructions and tendered it to the designated carrier, the Client bears transportation-related risk and costs, including carrier delays, loss, theft, damage in transit, delivery exceptions, and missed delivery attempts, to the extent permitted by law. HP Design does not guarantee tracking updates, transit times, or delivery dates. This does not excuse damage or loss caused by HP Design’s own failure to follow the agreed packing, labeling, or handoff instructions.
The Client decides whether to purchase additional declared-value protection or insurance and pays any associated charges. Carrier claims and eligibility are governed by that carrier’s rules. The Client coordinates the claim and gathers required recipient evidence. When the carrier requires the named shipper or account holder to submit paperwork, HP Design will reasonably cooperate and provide available shipping records. Such cooperation does not transfer transportation costs or risk to HP Design.
If delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete approved address, unavailable recipient, refusal, unclaimed parcel, or other carrier exception not caused by HP Design, the Client pays return freight, corrections, re-shipping, replacement labels, and any necessary inspection or new packaging. Returned parcels will not be shipped again until the Client submits corrected instructions and approves and pays any applicable new charges.
HP Design does not automatically remake or replace merchandise without charge for loss or damage caused by a carrier following proper handoff. Any remake or replacement requires separate approval and can involve additional production, packing, handling, and shipping charges. If HP Design makes a verified packing, labeling, or dispatch error, responsibility and any remedy are determined under the accepted order and applicable law.
Production-ready dates, carrier pickup, and estimated delivery dates are different milestones. Dispatch may be delayed by missing addresses, client approval, labels, payment, packaging instructions, carrier availability, or events outside HP Design’s reasonable control. For goods remaining unshipped more than ten business days after HP Design’s written ready notice due to outstanding Client instructions, any proposed storage or rehandling charges will be disclosed and agreed to in writing before accruing.
If international shipping is agreed, the Client is responsible for applicable restrictions, customs information, import/export documentation, taxes, duties, brokerage charges, and destination requirements unless a signed order assigns specific work to HP Design. HP Design may decline release if required documentation is missing or inadequate.
These terms supplement each accepted corporate order. They do not change HP Design’s separate merchandise-quality obligations or eliminate liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for speculative or consequential business losses arising solely from third-party carrier performance. Posting this page does not retroactively change an existing contract; these terms apply to an order only upon the Client’s written acceptance.
