HP Design Terms & Conditions

Welcome to HP Design. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These Terms govern all interactions with HP Design, including purchases, services, digital communications, and in-person design support.

1. Proofing & Design Service Terms

Proof Approval
Before production begins, written approval is required for all design proofs. By approving a proof, you acknowledge that the layout, spelling, sizing, and overall design are accurate and final.

Spelling is the customer’s responsibility.
Proofs are not to scale.
Colors may vary from screen to final product.
HP Design is not responsible for delays caused by late approvals or errors approved in the final proof.

Design Support Options
We offer two types of design assistance:

In-Studio Design: One 30-minute design session is included at no additional cost.
Remote Design: Customers may work with us via email or text to finalize their design. Remote services follow all terms outlined in this agreement.

Additional design time beyond the first 30 minutes (in-person or remote) will incur a $25 design fee.

Design File Requirements
All submitted artwork must be in SVG format for best engraving results. If you need help converting your file, we offer a $25 file preparation service.

2. Orders, Shipping & Delivery

Turnaround Times
Turnaround begins only after:

Final proof approval is received
All customization details are confirmed
Payment is completed

Pickup & Delivery Options

Orders under $300 are available for local pickup only.
Delivery is available for orders over $300 in Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Plano, Prosper, and surrounding areas. Delivery fee: $45.
Same-day pickups must be scheduled. Orders ready by Wednesday must be picked up by Friday unless previously arranged.

3. Custom Work & Customer-Supplied Items

We are happy to engrave items you provide, but results may vary due to unknown coatings, finishes, or materials.

HP Design is not responsible for damage or inconsistencies on customer-supplied items.

Items must be inspected by the customer before delivery or drop-off.

Complimentary storage of your items is limited to 14 days after job completion unless otherwise agreed.

Branding Notice
All products manufactured or produced by HP Design for both B2C and B2B clients may include our company logo, website, or both. Branding placement is executed tastefully and does not compromise the integrity of the custom design.

4. Personalization Accuracy

The customer is responsible for providing accurate personalization details.
HP Design will engrave exactly what is submitted (names, dates, initials, etc.).
Changes after production has begun may result in additional fees.

5. Design & Revision Policy

Each order includes 2 free design revisions.
Additional revisions are charged at $25 each.
For custom design services, our current layout fee is $15 per finalized version.
Design fees may vary depending on complexity, rush requests, or additional layout options.

6. Website & Store Usage Terms

By using our website or services, you agree to the following:

You must be the age of majority in your state or province to place orders.
You may not use our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
Product descriptions, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice.
We may refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or policy violation.

7. Third-Party Links & Tools

We may offer tools or links from third-party sites. These are provided "as is" without endorsement. Use at your own risk.

QR Codes

HP Design provides static QR codes only. Each QR code is permanently linked to the website, file, or information provided at the time of creation. Once generated and engraved or printed, the QR code cannot be edited, updated, or redirected to a new link.

If the linked website, Wi-Fi information, or file changes in the future, a new QR code must be created and produced. HP Design is not responsible for broken or outdated links resulting from such changes. By approving your proof, you acknowledge and agree that your QR code is static and not subject to future modification.

8. Billing & Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information for all orders. HP Design reserves the right to cancel or limit any order if inaccurate details are provided or payment cannot be verified.

9. Errors & Omissions

We make every effort to provide accurate information. However, we are not liable for typographical errors, outdated pricing, or unintentional omissions. We reserve the right to correct or update information at any time without notice.

10. Gift Card Terms

Valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.
Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
Up to 3-week reservation allowed for custom items.
Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

11. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

All logos, designs, and data submitted by customers remain their property. HP Design will not share or replicate custom files without prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

All services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” HP Design shall not be held liable for damages related to delays, product use, or service interruptions.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.
